In yesterday’s blog I said that all but Councilwoman Olga Diaz had voted to increase the salaries of Councilmembers that take office after the 2016 election. That was incorrect, as I remembered in the middle of the night. Councilman John Masson abstained, because Mayor Sam Abed had been a client of his. Yes, that didn’t make much sense to me either, but that’s what happened. Wish that Abed would be so conscientious with his votes.
